Most patients require removal of wisdom teeth. Our office will monitor development and position of the wisdom teeth as you grow. For adult patients, we can determine the need for extractions during the active phase.
As an orthodontist, I do not extract wisdom teeth but will refer you to an oral surgeon for that procedure. We work with all the oral surgeons in our area but also have an oral surgeon on staff.
Dr. Wiggins is one of the few dual trained oral surgeons in the Houston area, holding a MD degree as well as the normal oral surgery training. These surgeries are done in our Kingwood office on Saturdays which most patients find the availability of Saturday appointments to be extremely convenient.
