When we remove your braces, we will begin the retention stage of your treatment. Your final orthodontic result depends on your retainers. Compliance is critical to protect the hard work you’ve put in so far. Remember to remove your retainer before brushing, and brush your retainer before placing it back in your mouth.
For most cases we recommend full time wear the first 90 days. This is followed by night only wear until growth is complete and wisdom teeth are resolved. If wisdom teeth need removal, we have an oral surgeon on staff that provides surgical times on Saturdays in our office. Dr. Raymond L.
